Ferrera and Supporters knock on over 2,000 doors throughout Davis In first major precinct walk of 2008

John Ferrera, candidate for Yolo County’s 4th District Supervisor, kicked off his field campaign treating volunteers and supporters to coffee, donuts and juice Saturday morning. After a short rally, where John was introduced by West Sacramento Mayor Christopher Cabaldon, volunteers fanned out throughout the 4th District. Overall, they made over 2,000 voter contact attempts!

Between John and his volunteers, the campaign has already knocked on almost 40% of the doors in the 4th District. The campaign is on pace to knock on every voter’s door at least twice.

 

 

 

The Week Ahead

  • John will be attending a reception in his honor on Monday, March 10th from 6-8pm at the home of Bob & Lisa Giroux. Many senior capitol staff have signed on to be co-hosts, including Jodi Fujii (Sen. Machado) and 4th District Resident Rich Zieger (Sen. Torlakson);
  • John will be at the farmers market on Saturday, March 15th from 9:30-11:00am (guest TBA) talking about his budget experience and the importance of preserving the local farm economy in order to preserve local agricultural land. The 4th District has the 2nd most amount of ag land in Yolo County;
  • John and his volunteers will continue walking throughout the 4th District. This week, they will be targeting precincts in South Davis.
